The F word

If you don't know it by now from previous posts, I am the Queen of the house. I am the only woman in the house. That's right, I have so much testosterone running through the halls of my home. Therefore, the F word is always said with lots of laughter. When I say "the F word" I'm not talking about the curse word. That F word is not allowed to be said by my boys.

The F word that I'm referring to is .......Fart. My boys & husband is full of the stinky gas that make the most funny sounds. God definitely has a sense of humor. I know God gave me all boys because it doesn't bother me at all. I actually laugh about it as well. No, I'm not immature. Taco Soup is the worst.

January Family Meeting

What better way to run a successful business than having monthly meetings to hash over all the good, the bad, and the ugly?! We want to have a successful 2016. We need our boys to be on board with our plans to have a successful year as a family whole. These are some points that needed to be highlighted in our meeting over our employees (sons). Once they realize that what they bring to the table will dictate how smoothly things go. They're learning responsibility. It's hard work. I know they will fail. I want to be there to guide them in the right direction. Of course, there is always consequences, but at least they know where we stand on things.

One down, eleven to go!

Productive day!

Last night, I set my alarm for 7 am anticipating getting an early start on decluttering and organizing the house. At 9 am when I finally rolled out of bed, I made a quick breakfast of waffles for everyone before I assigned duties for the day.

It's funny how eager my boys are at the beginning but lose focus shortly after. I have found a few things to keep them interested and having fun while cleaning. Still have another day or so to have everything done but we have progress!

We worked through lunch so we were hungry at an early time and went to a place in Bartlett that we haven't been to in years, Lois and Jerry's. After dinner, we went and visited with Grandpa Schwertner. Mr. Felix (Pete) Schwertner is the sweetest gentleman. We enjoyed a little walk and talk with him. Even a few residents came by and talked with us. Love spending time with him. We said our goodbyes and because I'm a hugger I went in for a hug and I was pleasantly surprised that he gave me a sweet kiss on the cheek. That put a huge smile on my face!

Now we are home watching the OU vs Alabama Sugar Bowl. I really need to be folding clothes so I'll end it here.

Adios!

A New Year - 2014

My name is Sandi. I'm a 30 year old wife, mom, teacher, coach, and business owner .

I am married to Jacob, who is my high school sweetheart. We have been happily annoyed with each other since the sweet young age of 15. We said our "I do's" on May 31, 2003 at the age of 19. We have 3, full of life boys, Cody (10), Mason (8), and Hayden (6).  That's a little snippet about my family.

I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for my Five Dots (my family) but it can only go up, up, up!  I will be blogging more this year . I haven't blogged in 2.5 years. Way overdue. I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year!
